How many times have you heard of people begging in front of beggars! We guess, NEVER! Well, so this is the time to change and know about something as bizarre as it gets.
The story goes something like this, a handicapped beggar, Pappu Kumar, with a total worth of Rs.1.25 crore and 4 bank accounts, religiously begs on the Patna’s Railway Protection Force. The underlying story behind staying in misery, is that Pappu was an aspiring engineer but a dreadful accident left his left hand and leg impaired permanently. Though he sold his inherited ancestral property and has around 5 lakh cash balance lying in his bank account, but still he impels on not getting cured, which will ruin his chance of begging.
It was during an inspection by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel, that his real luxury was revealed. Pappu Kumar has 4 ATM Cards and has 5 lakh cash balance. But when asked why don’t he treat he left leg and hand, rather than begging. He said, “If I am cured, how will I continue begging?”.
So, technically he owns a 2000 square feet of land worth Rs 1.25 crore, 5 lakh rupees cash. Furthermore, the story gets interesting here, he has been providing loans to local business and trade men, with high rate of interest, which is his another way of earning. FYI, the amount of loan that he has offered till now is Rs.10 lakh.
