A 20-yr Venezuelan man called Jeison Orlando Rodríguez Hernandez has got his name written in Guinness Book of World Records for the biggest feet in the world. His feet are of 16 inches each and you may find it difficult to believe but it’s true that he wears shoes of size 26.
Jeison used to wear shoes made of cloth from the age of 14 but they got torn off in just 2-3 weeks and many times he was left with the option of going barefoot. In an interview to “NowThis”, he said, “These are the sorts of things I would go through. I would look at other people and say, ‘How I would like a little pair of shoes’.”
Jeison has experienced bullying and verbal abuses due to his feet which disturbed him a lot. Not only this, he also underwent medical tests which showed that he’s suffering from overactive pituitary which resulted in excessive growth.
A German shoemaker makes shoes for Jeison as he is a specialist in making shoes of irregular sizes. Jeison’s measurements were provided by the shoemaker to the team of Guinness Book of World Records.
Earlier this record was in the name of Sultan Kösen, whose feet measured 14 inches; however, record for the tallest living man is still in Sultan’s name becuase his height is 8 feet and 2.82 inches while Jeison’s height is 7 feet and 2.61 inches.
