No doubt, Kapil Sharma’s reality comedy show “Comedy Nights With Kapil” is a favorite of not only common people but also TV and Bollywood celebrities in view of the fact that it offered them a great platform to promote their upcoming movies and shows. And since when the news of its coming to an end has come, its fans are highly disappointed as well as saddened and the list includes not only me and you but also celebrities.
The occasion was of photographer Dabboo Ratnani’s calendar launch where celebs were also present and it was at that very place that they talked about Kapil Sharma and CNWK that would be going off air on 17th January.
To quote what SRK stated, “He’s a very talented man, one of the best stand-up comics we have. Apart from that, the film that he has done ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’, he’s done very good work in it. Hope he does something else soon so that we all can be entertained.”
And Farhan Akhtar is of the opinion, “I do believe that it is coming to an end. I think Kapil is a very talented guy. He has plans for himself in his life. I wish him all the best. He’s a very sweet boy and I just hope that whatever he plans for himself, he can achieve that.”
We all know that a number of actors and actresses appeared on “Comedy Nights With Kapil” and that too, more than once. At one fell swoop, it would not be wrong to say that promoting their movies on the comedy show benefited them a great deal as well.
Shraddha Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were among those who did not know that CNWK is to be ended soon and this is how Alia Bhatt reacted, “Rubbish! Really? I think the promotions might become a bit dull without ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’, without Kapil being in our lives.
During promotions, we always look forward to going on his show, and having a good laugh. But he’ll do movies now, his film is doing well.”
Whereas Shraddha Kapoor stated, “I’ve been quite disconnected. Is it going off? That’s really very sad if it’ll go off.”
In the words of Sidharth Malhotra, “I’ve heard that he’ll come back again. So it’s a short break. It’s an amazing show; he entertains people. Comedy is very difficult and I think he’s the best comedian we have. Looking forward to his comeback.”
