There is no denying the fact that every Hindi movie lover was waiting for Friday, 22nd January 2016 ever since the news of releasing “Airlift” starring Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur on this very day broke out. What added to the importance of this date and made viewers unable to control their excitement was the release of “Kya Kool Hain Hum 3” starring Tusshar Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani and Mandana Karimi on this date.
Quite naturally, we don’t need to state a reason as to why it was an awaited movie in view of the fact that it had been called the first p*rn-com movie of India. And after its trailer released, a number of people who already made up their mind of watching Airlift had to think again as this movie too had an extremely tempting trailer and from that very point, the spirit of competition and comparison between both the movies arose.
Comparisons are obvious to decide which is better, even though everyone knows Airlift is simply incomparable and invincible and the same could be seen on Box Office! From the very beginning, Airlift had a greater collection than KKHH3 and below are stats of first 3 days ever since the movie released:
Day 1:
Friday – 12.35 cr
Day 2:
Saturday – 14.60 cr
Day 3:
Sunday – 17.35 cr
The total collection of Airlift thus becomes ₹ 44.30 cr in India

While talking of Kya Kool Hain Hum 3, it earned:

Friday – 8.15 cr
Day 2:
Saturday – 5.50 cr
Day 3:
Sunday – 6.50 cr
Hence, the movie earned a total of ₹ 20.15 cr in India which is less than half of the collection of Airlift.

Airlift is based on a real incident and is appreciated by critics as well as viewers so no wonder why it has emerged as the winner between the two!
