After the end of Comedy Nights With Kapil, the CEO of the channel stated that Kapil couldn’t handle success. The same is happening with his film career as well. Kapil who made his debut in ‘Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karu’ has started demanding 5 times the fees now. For this film, he charged Rs. 1 crore, but now, our reliable sources tell us that he has started demanding Rs. 5 crore from movie makers.

Kapil feels that ‘Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karun’ became hit only due to him, but this wasn’t the fact. Success was possible only due to Abbas-Mustan’s limited budget. With print ads and production costs, the investment went up to 21 crores and in return, the film earned 40 crores in the country. It got 8 crores from TV rights and 4 crores from overseas and other rights. The film was made in limited budget and hence was sold at a lesser price. Everyone’s recovery became easier due to this.
