Competition between brands is not a new thing but sometimes, it takes an ugly turn and advertising plays an important role in the whole process. McDonald’s tried to insult Burger King in France by putting up a weird and long billboard that gave directions for reaching the nearest Burger King outlet which was 258 km far from the place where the billboard was set up. Of course, they also advertised for their own food outlet which was just 5 km away from the same place.
Here’s the pic of the billboard:
As expected, Buzzman, the ad agency of Burger King, is back with a perfect and kickass reply to McDonald’s billboard with their new promotion video which shows a couple visiting McDonald’s and asking for coffee and that too ‘tall’ for the reason that they had to cover a long distance. In the next scene, the couple is seen enjoying burgers at the Burger King outlet, implying that no distance is bigger for Burger King’s burger lovers as they are the best when it comes to the fast food.
