The year 2016 has proved to be not-so-lucky or quite bad for the celebrity couples as far as the relationships and marriages are concerned. One of the most beautiful couple of Bollywood, Ranbir-Katrina parted their ways after the news of their marriage was being discussed in the media. Later, we also saw Indian cricketer Virat getting separated from actress Anushka but what shocked us more was the news of actor Om Puri and Nandita Puri getting separated after 26 years of marriage and Farhan-Adhuna’s separation after 16 years of marriage.
One more celebrity couple’s divorce is near the corner as news of Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan’s separation is doing rounds for quite a good time now and if the indications from the media reports are to be believed, the divorce seems inevitable. As per reports, the Chaiya-Chaiya girl has already filed an application in the court for divorce. It is also been heard that Salman Khan has tried a lot to control the situation and made efforts to convince the couple, especially Malaika, to give their marriage another chance but Malaika seems to be absolutely stubborn now and she is hell bent on getting divorced from Arbaaz.
What is more disturbing for everyone is to understand as to what has happened between the couple that they are ending their 18 years long marriage, considering the fact that they also have a 13 years old son, Arhaan.
Real reason behind divorce
The reason behind the couple’s separation is that Malaika is not happy with the fact that till date, Arbaaz has not settled down properly whether it is his career or financial prospects, as reports suggest. Salman may have made big in the industry but his brothers Arbaaz and Sohail are just managing with the help of their Superstar brother’s name and they don’t have anything to boast on their own.
Malaika is a well-established model and dancer; she is seen regularly in many advertisements as well as in TV shows as judge. It is said that presently she has been managing all the financial affairs including the huge school fees of Arhaan. Malaika was hoping that Arbaaz would do well in his career but it seems as if her patience has ended and she has now made up her mind to end the relationship. Malaika has already left the Bandra house three months back with her son and presently staying in a rented apartment in Khar.
Salman arranged for a dinner which was attended by the family members along with the couple but it seems that the matter was not sorted out as the couple left in different cars.
