AgustaWestland scam has taken Indian politics by storm as BJP is alleging that Gandhi family members have played an important role in this scam. The worth of this deal was around Rs. 3600 crore and it was signed by Manmohan Singh led UPA government in 2010 but it was cancelled in 2014 when Italy claimed that it is pretty sure about bribe worth Rs. 226 crore is being paid by the company officials to close the deal.
Subramaniam Swamy, the political leader who always stands against Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice-President Rahul Gandhi, wanted to discuss the matter in the Rajya Sabha but as he uttered the name of Sonia Gandhi, Congress members stood up from their seats and started shouting, making it impossible for him to speak further.
