1. Madhubala
The gorgeous veteran actress had been taken into custody in 1957 for not complying with her work commitments. Madhubala signed a movie with BR Chopra for which she took payment in advance; however, she refused to do the movie later on.
2. Mamta Kulkarni
Mamta along with Vicky Goswami, her husband, was allegedly involved in an international drug racket and detained in Kenya for the same, as reported.
3. Sana Khan
‘Jai Ho’ actress was taken into custody along with her boyfriend as they threatened and assaulted some lady who allegedly revealed something about them. It was reported that the lady went to a hospital for check-up from where the actress, boyfriend and her servant dragged her out, attacked and gave threat for life. The woman lodged an FIR after the incident and the three were detained.
4. Shweta Basu Prasad
News of Shweta being involved in a s*x racket scandal came to many as an utter amazement cum shock. Hyderabad cops caught “Iqbal” actress red handed in a hotel room in compromising situation and took her into custody. She was in a remand home for about 2 months and later relieved.
5. Sonali Bendre
She allegedly hurt people’s religious emotions and sentiments by wearing a yellow kurta on which ‘Om’ and ‘Om Namah Shivay’ were printed and for the same, Sonali was taken into custody in 2001; however, not only the actress but also the dress designer was detained and they both were given bail after they paid Rs. 12,000 fine.
