PM Modi Finally Rectified A Mistake He Made Few Months Ago On Twitter

There is absolutely no denying the fact that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is among few Indian political leaders who make the most of technology for communication and other purposes. Not only this, he’s very active on social media too and his followers can get all important updates of his political life through his tweets.

What’s more, PM Modi tries his best to convey regards to all he knows on their special days such as birthdays. And the same habit made him an object of mockery when he gave best wishes to Ashraf Ghani, President of Afghanistan, on February 12, thinking it’s his birthday, on Twitter:

Happy birthday @ashrafghani. Praying for your long life & exceptional health and a joyful journey ahead.

— Narendra Modi (@narendramodi) February 12, 2016

But Ashraf Ghani’s birthday happened to be after three months and the President informed the same to PM Modi in a polite manner, thanking for the birthday wishes:

@narendramodi Greetings from Munich Mr. PM. Although, my Birthday is on 19th May, but I'd still like to thank you for your gracious words 🙂

— Ashraf Ghani (@ashrafghani) February 12, 2016

And as they say, “Better late than never”, Narendra Modi remembered the correct date this time and wished Ashraf Ghani on the right day!

Happy Birthday President @ashrafghani…got the date right this time. 🙂

— Narendra Modi (@narendramodi) May 19, 2016

And this is how Ashraf Ghani replied:

Bahut dhanyavaad Mr. PM. It's always a delight to hear from such dear friend of mine and a strong supporter of our people.

— Ashraf Ghani (@ashrafghani) May 19, 2016

Indeed, PM Modi has proved that he knows how to correct mistakes within time!!
