Gone are the days when you actually had to wait in long queue to book tickets for a movie and with the changing time, ways of doing things have also changed drastically, and needless to say, this has made tasks more convenient and easier for humans.
Booking tickets online has become quite common now-a-days and few sites offer this service at the convenience of your couch and just a mouse click. BookMyShow is one of those websites which provide users with the facility to book movie tickets online but what they recently did will fill you with anger as well as disgust.
Innocent netizens are being tricked on BookMyShow which is offering tickets at just Rs. 0! Yes, it’s ZERO! And all the shows are already HOUSEFUL as shown in below images:-
But there’s a twist! A big twist….
When users book movie tickets from the website, they get the message of total amount, which is Rs. 25.32 for Internet handling.
But even now if you think that it’s a cheap deal, WAIT & CAREFULLY READ the text of the following image:
As you can see, it states certain points which will make you feel cheated:
- Tickets have to be collected 45 minutes before the show time, else the seats would be allotted to other customers automatically.
- Charges collected are towards the reservation charge only, it does not include the ticket cost.
- Ticket cost has to be paid at the counter after producing the booking reservation number.
- Book My Show does not have any information on the ticket cost.
- Convenience charge will not be refunded if the tickets are not collected on-time at the counter.
Just pay extra attention to the second and third points where it’s clearly written that the cost you paid is reservation charge only and you’ll have to pay ticket cost additionally and the payment for the same will be done at the ticket counter.
A number of people have been tricked by the website and as a result, the show is houseful!
