Salman Khan has always been a respected name in Bollywood. However, if anyone messes up with him, he definitely has to face the consequences. Well, we are aware of the Arijit v/s Salman controversy. There were reports that Salman dropped out Arijit’s version of Jag Ghoomeya from Sultan movie due to the fact that Arijit had angered Salman in 2014 at an award function! Arijit had even sought public apology from Salman. However, this wasn’t the case!
Even though there were reports that this decision was taken by producers and directors and there was no involvement of Salman Khan , people didn’t stop pointing fingers at the actor. Finally, after a long silence, Salman has opened up! Let us see what he has to say on this controversy.
At an event, as soon as Salman heard the name of Arijit, he asked, ‘Who’s that?’ After that, he took a long pause and answered everyone as to what had exactly happened. He stated
“In every movie, there are lots of singers who are replaced. People come and sing. It’s directors and producers who then make the choice that who would be the best voice for the film. One voice was mine as well, my voice was also rejected. They shouldn’t be upset, its life.”
He further referred to Arijit as smart and stated
“There should be a day when a person (actor) should say don’t sing or sing. Smart ones don’t turn out bright. Then smart comments … post… they don’t… you come to know the intentions.”
