The medical examiner who examined the body of Mr. Wharmby said, “He also took anabolic steroids to boost his energy and sculpt his muscles, which were the direct cause of his death.”

The medical examiner Lisa Hashmi in a statement said that this should be a reminder to people, the dangers of using steroids for their health. She also added, “This should come as a clear message to all the people in the fitness industry, who risk their lives by using excessive steroids for the sake of developing heavy physique.”

Towards the end of his life Mr. Wharmby drifted back to natural medicine, to heal his cancer. At a point he took 200 natural remedy tablets a day.

Dean’s partner Charlotte Rigby said, ” When I and Dean met for the first time in 2008, I suspected him of taking steroids. But till the end of 2010, he was trying to stop taking drugs.”

Gaining a nice physique is good, but ruining your internal organs just for the sake of few extra pounds is extraordinarily dangerous. People should be fully aware of the steroids they use.
