Summer is at its peak nowadays and people are using all types of tricks and remedies to save themselves from heat waves going around the country. But a resident of Ahmedabad went one step ahead to keep herself cool this summer. She coated her car completely with cow dung and photos of this “cooling hack” went viral as soon as it was shared on Facebook.

A Facebook user Rupesh Gauranga Das shared the images on dung coated car and captioned it, “Best use of cow dung I have ever seen. To counter 45 degrees heat temperatures and protect the car from getting hot Mrs. Sejal shah has plastered her car with cow dung. Getting cool 😎.”

Coating cow dung inside the mud houses to keep it cool is a traditional remedy still used in villages. Due to the coating, the house remains warm in winter and cold in summer. It is also used as a natural disinfectant and mosquito repellent. And the smell gradually disappears with time.

What do you think of her idea?
