Inspired by this brave soldier, a housewife from Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh has come forward and offered to donate her kidney to the soldier who is fighting for his life.

The name of the housewife is Nidhi Pandey and she is from Padariya Tula area of Lakhimpur. Nidhi with her husband has participated in many organ donation activities earlier also. She contacted a local news channel and asked them for help in contacting the hospital to tell them about her wish.

One former sailor of Indian navy, SS Raju has showed his willingness in donating any organ needed to save Koppad’s life.

Raju was so moved and inspired by the spirit of Koppad to live that he contacted IANS in Mumbai and said, “I request doctors at the Army (R&R) Hospital to contact me immediately and I can go to New Delhi … I am ready to donate any organ, including liver, kidney… We must save our fellow brother who is critical.” Raju lives in Bhayander which is close to the Thane district.
