Recently, the former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra talked about the strong points of MI and showered praises on the MI skipper Rohit Sharma. According to Aakash Chopra, the biggest strong point of MI is the Indian core which has three Indian superstars – one of the best batsmen of the white ball cricket – Rohit Sharma, one of the best pacers – Jasprit Bumrah and one of the best all-rounders – Hardik Pandya. Aakash Chopra further says that MI also has a strong encore which comprises of Krunal Pandya who is again a good all-rounder, Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan  and Rahul Chahar who are already performing very well in the IPL and domestic level and trying their best to fix their place at the international level.

Aakash Chopra also appreciates the MI skipper Rohit Sharma and says that their second strong point is Hitman’s captaincy. As per Chopra, Rohit Sharma is 24-carat gold, the best cut diamond who is an expert is reading the game and nobody can guess by looking at his face which way the match is going because he keeps a poker-face.

The 43 years old former Indian cricketer also states that the pace attack of Mumbai Indians is one of the best as it comprises of Jasprit Bumrah, Nathan Counter-Nile, Dhawal Kulkarni and Trent Boult. Aakash Chopra goes on to say that if there is any team which can match MI in terms of pace bowling, it is Delhi Capitals as they have Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje. But one shortcoming which DC has is that they don’t have a replacement for Bumrah as Bhuvneshwar Kumar is with the Hyderabad franchise.
