He broke the record of Ghajini with 3 Idiots, Dhoom 3 with PK, PK With Dangal. Now being such a huge money spinner at Box Office, Aamir must be charging a huge remuneration. Right?
But you will be surprised to know that Aamir Khan doesn’t charge fees for any of his films. Now you will ask how does he earn money? Well, he strikes the profit sharing deal with producers which is a win-win situation for both.
Whenever he signs a film, he asks for certain profit share in the film.
If the film goes in profits, he gets his share accordingly and if not then he doesn’t get any.
But since Aamir Khan’s films make huge profits for makers, he ends up getting huge money for his films.
During the special media interaction for his Birthday recently, Aamir Khan spoke about the same. He said-
“Actually I don’t charge a fee. People don’t know that but it has been years since I have stopped charging a fee. If the film makes less money, I make less money, and if the film makes more money, I make more money.”
