Zaira Wasim doesn’t need any introduction, as the 16-yr starlet got immense popularity and admiration for her splendid performance in Aamir Khan starrer “Dangal” which broke all the records on the box-office.
She portrayed the character of young Geeta Phogat and we must say that she’s a brilliant actress, just like her on-screen father, i.e., Aamir Khan.
Recently, Zaira posted an apology on social media that went viral, for obvious reasons; nevertheless, she deleted it later. It was reported that the girl had been trolled for her latest meeting with Mehbooba Mufti, Jammu and Kashmir CM. In this meeting, she talked about the importance of girls’ education as well as the safety of women.
Till now, there have been reactions from various people including celebrities but finally Aamir Khan has opened up on the matter and as expected, he has supported Zaira!
Mr. Perfectionist took to Facebook and wrote,
“I have read Zaira’s statement, and I can understand and imagine what lead her to make that statement.
Zaira, I want you to know that we are all with you. The beauty is that bright, young, talented, hardworking, respectful, caring and courageous kids like you are a role model for kids not only in India, but across the world. You certainly are a role model for me! May god bless you. Love. Aamir.
P.S. : I appeal to everyone to now leave her alone and respect the fact that she is just a 16 yr old girl trying her best to deal with life.”
