According to Dabangg star Salman Khan, his latest hit ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ had firstly been offered to Aamir Khan, his close friend, who then recommended the name of Salman.

K.V. Vijayendra Prasad, father of S.S. Rajamouli who has directed the super blockbuster movie “Bahubali”, has written Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s initial script and it was not “Chulbul Pandey” whom this scrip had initially been offered.

On Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s success, there was a special conference of media and there they asked Sallu whether it’s true that the movie had initially been offered to Aamir to which Salman confirmed, “Yes, Aamir told me that Prasad had come to him and he sent him to me. So this is just Aamir sahab’s generosity.”

Speaking of the contribution of Vijayendra in the movie, Sallu mentioned, “The father of ‘Bahubali’ director Rajamouli wrote the subject of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. So the first question we asked him was why didn’t you ask your son to direct the film and why not there (south India)?”

“He said that was because there was a difference in language. He said if this film has to be made, it has to be made very authentically,” Salman added.

He further said, “He saw ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, and keeps on telling me that he wants to meet my father. Before starting any film, he would watch ‘Deewaar’, ‘Zanjeer’, ‘Sholay’ and only then begin the film.”

As reported, Mr. Perfectionist had some issues with the script so he wanted to modify it a little but Prasad declined. Whereas, Sallu heard the script and immediately said “Yes”!
