AB De Villiers Mimics Virat Kohli’s Celebration Style After RCB Defeats MI, Video Goes Viral

The skipper of Royal Challengers Bangalore Virat Kohli must be a happy man as his team has registered its first victory in the second league of the IPL 2021. Needless to say, fans are on cloud nine after RCB defeated Mumbai Indians on Sunday in the match played at Dubai International Stadium.

RCB batted first and put up a total of 165/6 on the board but the five times champions MI could manage only 111 runs and the whole team got out in 18.1 overs. Batting first, RCB had a pretty bad start as Devdutt Padikkal got out for 0 after playing 4 balls but Virat Kohli (51) and Srikar Bharat (32) batted well and Glenn Maxwell was the player who stole the whole limelight as he played a blistering knock of 56 runs for which he faced just 37 deliveries and hit 6 fours and 3 sixes.

RCB bowling was also very lethal against MI as no batsman other than Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock was able to give any resistance to the RCB bowlers and all the other batsmen couldn’t even touch the double digit mark. Harshal Patel was the top wicket-taker for RCB as he took 4 wickets which also included a hat-trick. Glenn Maxwell was adjudged as the Player of the Match for his superb performance with bat and ball both as he also took 2 wickets.

After the match in the team meeting, Virat Kohli praised his team members and shared his views on the match as well. However, everyone had a big smile on the face when AB de Villiers imitated the celebration style of his skipper and also gave a hug to Virat.
