As far as the match is concerned, it was played at Wankhede stadium, Mumbai, and after winning the toss, MI decided to bowl first.
The stand-in skipper Sam Curran who is leading the side in absence of Shikhar Dhawan led the team from the front as he played a smashing knock of 55 runs (29 balls, 5 fours & 4 sixes) and helped his team in scoring a big total of 214/8.
