Abdul Razzaq Says PSL Can Beat IPL, Gets Trolled In The Most Epic Way

Abdul Razzaq, the former Pakistani cricketer, may have been an important player for his team but nowadays he has become a favourite target of trollers. However, the trollers can’t be blamed for slamming Abdul Razzaq as he has been giving some really mindless statements for a couple of months now.

Abdul Razzaq has once again invited the wrath of Indian cricket fans as he tried to prove Pakistan Super League (PSL) better than Indian Premier League (IPL). Recently, the former Pakistani cricketer told the Pakistani journalist Saj Sadiq that if the best teams of IPL and PSL play against each other, it will be PSL’s team which will win the match.

Saj Sadiq quoted Razzaq in a tweet, “If a team of the best players from the Indian Premier League faced a team made-up of the best players from the Pakistan Super League, the PSL team would win.”

If you remember, after the 2019 PSL which was won by Quetta Gladiators, the commentators made a team which was the best in their opinion; it included seven Pakistani players and four foreign players.

Here is the team:

PSL XI: AB de Villiers (C), Hasan Ali, Faheem Ashraf, Shane Watson, Colin Ingram, Umer Khan, Asif Ali, Kamran Akmal (WK), Wahab Riaz, Babar Azam and Kieron Pollard

On the other hand, the legendary Indian spinner Anil Kumble also made the best team of IPL which is as follows:

IPL XI: MS Dhoni (wk & c), Jasprit Bumrah, Shreyas Gopal, David Warner, Imran Tahir, Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, Kagiso Rabada, Hardik Pandya, Andre Russell and KL Rahul

Twitter trolled Abdul Razzaq in the most hilarious way for this statement and here are some of the selected reactions:

Last year in December, he called Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah a baby bowler and said that he would have easily played and dominated the Indian bowler as he had played against some great bowlers of his time. At that time also, he was slammed heavily by Indian fans and former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan reminded the Indian fans of the time when Pakistani cricketers made fun of him before the tour but were not able to play him comfortably when he bowled against them in the matches.

There is no denying that fact that anything can happen on any given day in the game of cricket but this statement by Abdul Razzaq was certainly not in good taste. What do you say?
