India T20I star Abhishek Sharma produced a batting masterclass on Sunday (August 2) by smashing an incredible 233 runs off just 91 balls for Amritsar Mens Senior in the Punjab State Inter District Senior One Day Limited Overs Tournament 2026-27 against Tarn Taran.
The 25-year-old left-handed opener dominated the opposition from the very beginning, blasting 15 fours and 25 sixes at an astonishing strike rate of 256.04. His explosive innings gave Amritsar a dream start and completely changed the course of the match.

Abhishek Sharma also shared a massive 305-run opening partnership with Abhay Choudhary, who made 93 runs off 85 balls. The partnership laid the perfect foundation for a huge total before Abhishek Sharma became the first batter to be dismissed. He was removed by Ashish Lowrance on the fourth ball of the 25th over.
Powered by Abhishek Sharma’s remarkable innings, Amritsar Mens Senior piled up a mammoth 533/8 in 50 overs. Another well-known name in the Amritsar playing XI was Sunrisers Hyderabad wicketkeeper-batter Salil Arora, who contributed 29 runs from 18 balls while batting at No. 4.
