There were reports that Ranveer Singh will be paid a whopping amount of Rs. 5 Crore for his performance of 15 minutes but he is not the highest paid actor at the IPL opening ceremony.

The actor who will be paid higher than Ranveer for performing at the IPL opening ceremony is the “Judwaa 2” star Varun Dhawan and he will be paid approximately Rs. 6 Crore for his performance.

The reason for Varun getting paid more than the “Padmaavat” actor is his mass appeal. After all, he is more popular among the kids and youngsters.

He will be shaking a leg on the hit songs of “Judwaa2” and “Badrinath Ki Dulhania”. It is also said that he and Jacqueline will perform together in some acts.
