Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn must be on cloud nine as his latest release “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” has been loved by audiences and it has already collected Rs 75.68 crore within the four days of its release.
“Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” is also close to Ajay’s heart because it is his 100th movie and the huge success of the film has given him more happiness. The “Ishq” actor is not much active on social media and he also feels that social media has taken away all the charm of stardom because fans are able to know a lot through these networks.
Ajay says that earlier people knew very less about their favourite actors because of which they used to imagine about their lifestyle, habits, etc. but nowadays many actors share their personal and professional information themselves.
The “Singham” star feels that an actor should be known for his work rather than for what he is doing on social media networks. He is pretty happy to sustain for so long and feels good as he has tried new things in his career and people have always respected him.
He also talked about the choice of his movies and says that it is because of his varied selection and his zeal to do something new that people have showered love on him. As per him, he did “Raincoat” when nobody wanted to do such a flick but nowadays many such films are made and they are also doing good on the box-office.
Talking about the movies which are close to his heart, he says that “The Legend of Bhagat Singh” and “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” are very close to his heart and they have touched him the most. He says that it is difficult to believe that such people existed in this world who always kept nation above themselves and didn’t think even once before sacrificing themselves for the nation.
Many big projects are lined up for Ajay such as “Maidan”, “Bhuj: The Pride of India”, “Chanakya” and an untitled movie by Luv Ranjan which will also star Ranbir Kapoor. Ajay has already spent 29 years in the industry and we hope that he sees more success in the coming years.
