Famous for her ‘Veera’ character, actress Digangana Suryavanshi has chopped off her knee length long hair. Want to know why? Well, this was the effect of Salman Khan. Digangana was seen walking out of popular hairstylist Colleen Khan’s salon with hair that was 19 inches shorter than before!
Being thrilled, the actress stated that during Bigg Boss 9, Salman had asked her to get a haircut so that she could make a difference to her career as well as her look. She believes that whatever Salman says definitely makes a difference. He also suggested her to get a toned and fitter body. Further, she adds that Salman sir is quite frank while giving his opinions and she is thankful to him.
This was a very big decision for her since she has cut her hair for the 1st time in 18 years. Digangana adds that her mother had been trying to get her good hair even before she was born. Usually, it is believed that if a pregnant woman consumes baasi roti along with ghee, the child gets great hair. Her mom was doing the same! She spoke to her parents about the suggestion given by Salman sir and they too were pretty convinced.
All this while, she never agreed to get a haircut or even get it trimmed. Even while playing Veera, she folded her hair for making it look short, since she wanted to avoid wigs.
She feels that her haircut is similar to that of Ayesha Takia.
Now she is focusing on her look since Salman told her that she was quite sensible and could do much better.
