Movies in Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal series have not only been entertaining but a hit on Box Office as well and that’s why, despite the fact that its three installments have already been released, fans can’t wait for the fourth one!
There have been gossips about the star cast of Golmaal 4 and it was said that Shraddha Kapoor had been approached for the flick; however, it’s finally revealed that none other than bold and beautiful Parineeti Chopra will be a part of this movie. Just to inform, Pari has signed Takadum and Meri Pyari Bindu prior to Golmaal Again scripted by Sajid Farhad.
This is what a source revealed,
“The role required a pretty, bubbly girl. She plays a character, who is not seen by anybody except Ajay Devgn’s character and is his partner in crime. It’s an interesting, quirky role and Parineeti loved it. Rohit was undecided between Shraddha (Kapoor) and Pari and met both the actresses for a narration. Shraddha said she would get back soon, while Pari said yes without hesitation. She loves the brand and wanted to be part of a Rohit Shetty entertainer. It was this positive attitude that Rohit liked and so, he signed her immediately.”
Nevertheless, according to Shraddha Kapoor, she wasn’t even approached for this character in Golmaal Again.
In her words,
“I am not in Golmaal Again and I wasn’t even approached for it. It was just a rumour.”
In fact, Shraddha says that she hasn’t been offered an out-and-out comedy in her filmy career and will instantly agree to do such films if she gets a nice script.
Here’s what she said,
“I have not been offered an out-and-out comedy. I would love to do such types of comedies if a nice script comes my way. I love all my dad’s (Shakti Kapoor) films – right from Andaaz Apna Apna to Raja Babu and Satte Pe Satta and if remakes were made of these, I would like to act in them. In fact, I love all David Dhawan films as they are so cheesy yet nice and entertaining. I would love to work with David uncle.”
Talking about Parineeti Chopra, this is what a source revealed,
“Parineeti has been reading scripts for the last year. She’s being extremely selective but has given her nod to Rohit.”
As per the source, Pari will play the character of a cheery and jolly girl and accompany Ajay in crimes.
According to reports, Parineeti was asked not to disclose her presence in Golmaal Again since Rohit wanted to make this announcement in a grand way. A source revealed, “Now that Shivaay has released, he will announce the entire cast.”
Ajay Devgn previously stated,
“I will be shooting for Baadshaho now and will move to Golmaal 4 in January end or early February.”
The movie will hit theaters the next year!
It will be interesting to watch what new excitement this new and fresh pair creates on big screen!!
