As much as we hope to avoid the embarrassment, we get attracted towards it. Lack of discipline in our life sometimes leads us to making really unwanted and unexpected blunders which become a reason for shame.
But, can we expect the same from soldiers, who spend their life for the safety of the country? We all know about the hardship they go through while training and the importance of discipline in their life.
However, what happened recently made us think that there’s always a scope of improvement in everything and everyone. Before you go for the action, it’s very important to double check the things.
An adult video clip got played by a soldier as he was about to give a presentation during ‘darbar’ held at the headquarters of the 77th Battalion at Ferozepur on Sunday morning.
As per the sources, ‘Darbar’ is organised to learn about the issues faced by BSF personnel. As the ‘darbar’ began, an officer got up and gave a presentation through his official laptop. But instead of the presentation, an adult clip started playing which went on for about 90 seconds. Around a dozen women, BSF personnel were present during the ‘darbar’.
BSF inspector general, Punjab Frontier, Mukul Goyal, confirmed that the adult clip was played in the ‘darbar’ and an inquiry was ordered. He, however, said the clip was played for about two to five seconds and seven to eight women were present in the room at the time.
The IG said they had identified the officer whose laptop was used in the ‘darbar’. He was quoted as saying-
“Such material should not have been on the official laptop of an officer. We are taking the matter seriously. That’s why we have ordered an inquiry,”
This is yet another embarrassment for the BSF after a soldier, Tej Bahadur Yadav, exposed the “poor quality of food” served in the army through a video which went viral on the Internet. Bahadur was later dismissed from the force.
