The relationship between a Bollywood actress & Indian cricketer is not new and they have proved to be quite successful too, for instance, Virat Kohli & Anushka Sharma, Yuvraj Singh & Hazel Keech, Harbhajan Singh & Geeta Basra, Zaheer Khan & Sagarika Ghatge, etc. The latest addition to this list is the adorable couple KL Rahul and Bollywood star Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya who is also an actress by profession.
Rahul and Athiya have been dating for almost 3 years now and have never shied away from accepting their relation. They have often been seen together and share pics with each other on social media too. Athiya’s father Suniel Shetty also doesn’t have any problem with this relationship; in fact, he seems to be happy and leaves no chance to praise Rahul.
In recent times, the market of gossip is abuzz with the rumours of Athiya and Rahul’s marriage in 3 months and while this news was spreading like wildfire, neither Rahul nor Athiya made any comment in this regard.
However, Athiya has finally broken silence on the wedding rumour and laughed it off in an Instagram story in which she wrote, “I hope I’m invited to this wedding that’s taking place in 3 months, lol”.
When Athiya left for Germany with KL Rahul, media approached Suniel Shetty to know about the details of Athiya’s marriage and the “Hera Pheri” actor straight away dashed the rumours, saying that nothing of this sort is happening at the moment.
Only time will tell the truth behind such rumours but one thing is for sure – Rahul and Athiya look great together! What do you say?
