Have you ever wondered what is the so extra special in those “Special Menu”? I guess, Air India has given the answer to all the quenching brains now.
The incident that took place in the Delhi-London flight today has stunned everyone. Reportedly a lizard was found in the food tray which was offered to the passenger. The passenger who boarded the flight AI 111 was on his way to London from Delhi. On been asked his preference for Lunch, the person asked for the Special Menu, which turned out to be the “Special Lizard Menu”.
Though the Lunch was neatly packed, but right above the tissue napkins was a dead lizard. On seeing the lizard as his food, the passenger screamed and refused to take any food on board. Though the staffs tried to convince and also replaced the meal, the passenger refused. Indeed, lost trust cannot be re-gained and who can take the risk of eating lizard.
If sources are to be believed, this is not the first time such a malign food has been served on board, previously also, cockroaches and other insects were found in the food gallery. The Airline staffs had also complained the management which went to deaf ears and no action was taken. And, as a result of the carelessness such an incident took place.
However, just now Air India gave a statement saying
“Air India would like to clarify that the news on Twitter & elsewhere regarding a “lizard in meal tray is false.”
No such complaint has been received from any passenger on board the flight or at Air India office in LHR”
Lizard found in Air India meal, it seems.
Of course. If lizards can eat flies, why can’t someone who flies, eat lizards.:D 😀
