Airlift Vs KKHH3 : Republic Day Collections Are Out & You Will Be Shocked To See The Results

Yesterday, i.e., 26^th January was National Holiday in India and the whole country was celebrating The Republic Day. Quite naturally, on this day, it was obvious for movie lovers to go for “Airlift” rather than Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 which is a totally different and not relatable film from the perspective of a national festival since it’s called a p*rn-com and is rated under the category of ‘A’.

And the same happened but it’s still a shameful thing that there were few Indians who preferred KKHH3 to Airlift! Even though Akshay’s movie Airlift has got tremendous response on The Republic Day and it was highest collection day for this movie but what was shocking is that even KKHH3 got good audience and was able to collect 3.75 Crore on a day like 26^th January.

One thing can be certainly said that audience in India has become more sensible and choosy in terms of what they want to watch! What’s more, they just won’t tolerate any crap and if they can’t ban its screening, they can at least show their disliking by not watching the movie and this thing seems to be true in case of KKHH3!

Below are stats of first 5 days ever since both the movies released:

Day 1:

Friday – 12.35 cr

Day 2:

Saturday – 14.60 cr

Day 3:

Sunday – 17.35 cr

Day 4:

Monday – 10.40 cr

Day 5:

Tuesday – 17.80 cr

The total collection of Airlift thus becomes ₹ 72.50 cr in India. Seeing this result, it can be surely said that the movie will soon enter 100 crore club.

While talking of Kya Kool Hain Hum 3, it earned:

Day 1:

Friday – 8.15 cr

Day 2:

Saturday – 5.50 cr

Day 3:

Sunday – 6.50 cr

Day 4:

Monday – 3 cr

Day 5:

Tuesday – 3.75 cr

Hence, the movie earned a total of ₹ 26.65 cr in India

This war is getting more interesting now, even though the winner is clearly apparent!
