On Thursday evening, the couple made a rare joint appearance as they attended the annual day celebration at Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai. A video that soon surfaced online showed the two arriving together at the venue. Aishwarya looked elegant in a black suit, while Abhishek kept things relaxed with a casual outfit. The moment felt natural and warm, with Abhishek seen gently assisting Aishwarya as they walked inside. They were also joined by Aishwarya’s mother, Brindya Rai, adding to the sense of family togetherness.

Their appearance comes just days after Abhishek openly addressed ongoing rumours about trouble in their marriage. He firmly dismissed the speculation, describing it as untrue, hurtful and driven by baseless assumptions. He explained that public figures often become easy targets for gossip, where stories are created without facts and repeated until they sound believable. According to him, these rumours have existed for years and did not begin after their wedding.
Abhishek shared that such chatter holds no weight in his life because both he and Aishwarya are secure in their truth and return every day to a loving, grounded family. When asked if the rumours ever affect him, he made it clear that they do not, simply because there is no reality in them.
Abhishek and Aishwarya married in 2007 and are parents to a daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. Speculation about their relationship gained momentum last year when they appeared separately at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding. It grew further after Aishwarya shared photos from Aaradhya’s birthday that did not include members of the Bachchan family, and also when Abhishek was not seen supporting her during her Cannes appearance earlier this year.
