Ajay Devgn has always been the shy one among Ajay and Kajol. We have hardly heard any opinion from him since past many years.
But since his upcoming movie ‘Shivaay’ has clashed with Kjo’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ he has become expressive in front of the media.
Ajay has been very vocal about his opinion these days and his fans are actually liking his views. He gained a lot of appreciation from the public when he talked about the Uri Attack and supported the ban on the Pakistani artists.
Uri Attack has already caused a lot of tensions between Pakistan and India. The attack resulted in the temporary ban on Pakistani artists. Thus, the recent films who have cast any Pakistani actor are facing the trouble as well.
Ajay Devgn though has supported the ban over Pakistani artists but has also expressed the reason why Bollywood prefers to stays silent when it comes to express their views on any political scenario.
During this talk, Ajay also supported his competitive film ‘ Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
Ajay was asked if nationalism or fear plays a part in expressing a view…
Ajay Devgn very clearly expressed that if we speak something against the political scenario that will affect our film’s release…
“Both. When it comes to nationalism, as I said, I stand by the country. When it comes to politics, industry men gets a little scared. He gets scared because if today you say anything against a group, your film will be stopped, something will happen.”
He then went on explaining the fear…
“We are very vulnerable where politics is concerned. Where nationalism is concerned, I don’t think it (Bollywood) is divided… We want to stay away from politics because we are vulnerable. But when it comes about the nation, there I stand by it. But when politics is concerned, sometimes you say it, but most of the time you stay quite because of fear.”
Ajay Devgn yet again proved that he is quite clear about his views. He definitely has shared a bitter truth. He has always been straightforward whenever he has spoken and hence people love whenever he shares any of his opinions these days.
