Akshara Haasan, the daughter of Kamal Haasan, has hit the headlines, but this time, the reason is very surprising. Actually, there were reports that the actress rhas changed her religion to Buddhism. We all know how media hypes matters and creates unnecessary controversies surrounding stars.
Even though the matter might be a small one, media adds mirch-masala to make it look big. There’s nothing wrong with respecting a particular religion, right?
In an interview with TOI, Akshara had expressed how she’s an atheist. But looks as if she got inclined to Buddhism, which is why media said that she got converted. Akshara said that she loves the teachings and principles of Buddha.

As soon as this news came out, social media started talking about her religion change. In fact, they not only targeted her, but also questioned her dad Kamal Haasan.
But we must accept that Kamal Haasan is definitely a cool dad and his tweet proves it. He calmly asked her if she has changed her religion. Check it out…
Hi. Akshu. Have you changed your religeon? Love you, even if you have. Love unlike religeon is unconditional. Enjoy life . Love- Your Bapu

His tweet read, “Hi. Akshu. Have you changed your religeon? Love you, even if you have. Love unlike religeon is unconditional. Enjoy life . Love- Your Bapu”
Even Akshara chose to reply instead of ignoring the tweet;

The tweet read, “Hi bapuji. No, still an atheist. Although i agree with budhism as it is a way of life and in an individuals way of life.”
It’s great to see how the actor accepted his daughter’s thoughts; we have always seen him speak frankly on various personal and social issues.
Hope Kamal Haasan’s reply is enough to shut the mouths of all social media users, who had been criticizing her without a reason. Changing or following the teachings of a religion is one’s personal choice and no one has the right to comment on it. Moreover, if her dad is approving her decision, others don’t have any right to blame her.
What do you have to say about this?
