Akshay Kumar Refused To Go On Comedy Nights Bachao! Instead He Chose This Show….

Comedy Nights Bachao is getting unpopular among the actors of Bollywood. Recently, Jacqueline Fernandez denied to appear on the reality show for promoting her upcoming movie “Dishoom” and now it’s been heard that superstar Akshay Kumar has refused to promote his next movie “Rustom” on the show.

You might be surprised to know that instead of CNB, Khiladi Kumar has preferred to attend The Kapil Sharma Show for promotions.

The reason behind this refusal is the unpleasant experience that he had on the show when Siddharth Jadhav called Lisa Haydon a “black African” and “Kangaroo” during the promotion of Housefull 3.

Comedy Nights Bachao is based on the roast format and this is the reason as to why many actors avoid going on the show. What’s more, after the incident happened with Lisa Haydon, there was a huge uproar on using such words for an actress; however, later it was called a prank to silence the issue.

Akshay also didn’t feel comfortable during the show and he articulated his feelings to Siddharth Jadhav and other members. One more reason for skipping Comedy Nights Bachao may be that the heroine Ileana D’Cruz is also not well versed in Hindi as Lisa Hayden.

When Karan Wahi, a performer on the show, was asked about this, he said, “I am honestly unaware of this matter. I was not there during the Housefull 3 episode. We have not rehearsed for any episode around Rustom so far.”

Another actress who is also a part of the show said, “See, even if something of this sort happened, it is on the team level i.e. production house, channel and actors. We as actors/performers would not be in the loop. However, I have not shot for anything related to the film.”

Looking at the good number of shows on television which can be attended for movie promotion, skipping Comedy Nights Bachao would hardly have any effect on the promotion of Rustom but it may have an effect on the popularity of the comedy show.
