The Khiladi’s 3 movies i.e. ‘Airlift ‘, ‘Housefull 3’ and ‘Rustom’ have already entered the 100 crore club this year, making him the highest earning actor of 2016. His latest movie ‘Rustom’ was well accepted by audience and critics both, and garnered good collections, leaving behind ‘Mohenjo Daro’ which clashed with it.
Now, there is some good news for you guys; Akshay Kumar’s new flick apart from ‘Crack’ and ‘Jolly LLB 2’ is on it’s way! Yes, there are reports that he would be shooting for another film by Neeraj Pandey titled ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’.
Did you remember something just like we did? Hearing the name of this movie, one thing that immediately comes to mind is ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’, the unforgettable Sunny Deol starrer . However, the similar names is just a coincidence and there is no connection of both the flicks whatsoever.
Talking about ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’, it is going to revolve around the theme of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’, PM Modi’s cleanliness drive. Isn’t it an interesting subject to make a movie on?
The movie satirically highlights the hygiene and sanitation condition in India, and is surely going to be a treat to watch, don’t you think so? Moreover, since it stars Akshay Kumar, there are no doubts on the success of the movie.
Reports also add that the shooting of this Akshay Kumar starrer would start in the month of November and would be wrapped up by February next year. Bhumi Pednekar would be playing the female lead. A humorous title paired with a satirical subject is enough to catch attention of movie lovers. It seems this film will be a super-duper hit and will break all previous records of Akshay Kumar.
Earlier there were reports of ‘Crack’ being a renamed version of ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’, but later on there were confirmations about both the movies being different ones. We are sure that you are already excited for the movie, so are we.
Before that, we will have to treat ourselves to ‘Crack’ which is slated to release on Independence day 2017.
