Al Qaeda, terror group, has purportedly ‘declared war’ on jihadists Islamic State, as reported.

Ayman al-Zawahiri, replacement of Laden, moved on for taking reins 4 yrs back following insolvency of former leader and now in an audio message, he has blasted ISIS. Not only this, he also accuses Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (chief of ISIS) of ‘sedition’.

ISIS has eclipsed Al Qaeda in past years due to which it is assumed that Al Qaeda chiefs are unhappy.

As per Matthew Olsen, counter terrorism expert, war declaration would ‘irreconcilably’ separate the groups.

Al-Zawahiri in his message mentioned, “We preferred to respond with as little as possible, out of our concern to extinguish the fire of sedition, but Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and his brothers did not leave us a choice, for they have demanded that all the mujahideen reject their confirmed pledges of allegiance, and to pledge allegiance to them for what they claim of a caliphate.”

The message was released on Wednesday online.

“Everyone was surprised” by Baghdadi’s declaration anointing himself the fourth caliph in Islamic history. He has done this without consulting the Muslims,” Al-Zawahiri continued.
