‘Sultan’ has successfully completed ‘7 days’ and has entered the 200 crore club by garnering a whopping 208 crores! We also reported about this blockbuster breaking ‘30’ records, isn’t it amazing?
While everyone associated with ‘Sultan’ is celebrating the success and enjoying these records, there are some more records which unfortunately ‘Sultan’ couldn’t break. Yes, although ‘Sultan’ was declared an ‘All Time Bollywood Blockbuster’, it couldn’t break these 3 records. Check it out!
Couldn’t Beat Happy New Year which earned the maximum amount on a single day!
Now, even though ‘Sultan’ earned 200 crores in a week i.e. 7 days, it couldn’t beat ‘Happy New Year’. Yes, this SRK movie had earned 45 crores on the 1st day itself and unfortunately ‘Sultan’ couldn’t cross this amount on any single day.
Sultan couldn’t be the highest opener!
Well, here Sultan couldn’t beat ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo’. Eid releases prove to be very lucky for Salman Khan always. But this time, even in spite of an Eid Release, ‘Sultan’ couldn’t be a highest opener. On the 1st day, it garnered a whopping 36.54 crores but unfortunately couldn’t cross his own movie ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo’, which collected 39 crores on its opening day.
Failed to be the highest Monday earner!
Talking about the 1st Monday collections, ‘Sultan’ garnered 15.50 crores but still it couldn’t go ahead of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ which garnered 27.05 crores and ‘PK’ which garnered 21.71 crores on 1st Monday.
