The Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel whose last release “Gadar 2” has shattered the box-office is continuously in news because of the shocking statements that she is making on a regular basis. Earlier, she accused Anil Sharma, director of “Gadar 2”, of mismanagement and non-payment of dues and then she also took a jibe at him by saying that he tried to push his son in the industry with “Gadar 2” but Sunny Deol along with her stole the show.
Ameesha made her debut with Rakesh Roshan directed “Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai” in which she played the female lead opposite Hrithik Roshan. Kareena Kapoor Khan was supposed to do this movie initially but as per Kareena, she left the film because she felt that Rakesh Roshan would not concentrate or focus on her and her character much as it is his son’s debut movie and all the focus will be on Hrithik and his character. In an interview, Kareena even called her decision correct and said that every frame in which Hrithik appeared was beautiful but it was not the case with Ameesha.
Now, Ameesha Patel stated in an interview that Kareena didn’t leave “Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai” herself but on the contrary, she was asked to leave by Rakesh Roshan. Ameesha stated that Rakesh Roshan told her Kareena was asked to leave the movie because they were having creative differences between them. She further added that everybody was tensed as it was Hrithik’s debut movie, crores were already invested and a new actress had to be found in just 3 days. As per Ameesha Patel, Pinky aunty (Hrithik’s mother) told her that Rakesh Roshan was not able to sleep the whole night after he saw her (Ameesha) in a wedding because he felt that he got her Sonia (name of Ameesha’s character in KNPH) but he was also concerned what would happen if she didn’t agree to do the film.
The “Gadar 2” actress went on to say that Rakesh Roshan praised her a lot during the shooting because she used to pay attention to whatever he used to teach on the sets and he also called Ameesha a blessing in disguise.
During another interview, Ameesha also talked about director Anil Sharma and said that she never had good relations with him. The “Humraaz” actress also claimed that initially Anil Sharma wanted to cast Govinda in the role of Tara Singh and Mamta Kulkarni in the role of Sakina.
Well, Anil Sharma has already stated in an interview that Ameesha has an attitude problem because she belongs to an influential family, it remains to be seen whether Kareena will react to Ameesha’s statement or not.
As far as “Gadar 2” is concerned, the movie has crossed the Rs. 500 crore mark at the box-office but it may slow down now in view of the fact that Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan” is set to release this Friday.
