Here’s great news for the fans of “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha” as well as its stars Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel! Yes, you guessed it right! The superhit Jodi is all set to appear once again on the big screen with upcoming flick “Bhaiyyaji Superhit”. Nevertheless, Ameesha recently clarified that the film which stars Preity Zinta too isn’t Gadar’s sequel.
This is what Ameesha Patel told media, “I am happy to come back with Sunny Deol on big screen. But I feel our audiences are even more excited about it. But I want to clear the fact that this movie is not ‘Gadar’ part 2. That was a serious love story and this is a comedy film. The Tara Singh and Sakhina jodi of Sunny Ji and Ameesha will be coming in a new avatar. So, it will be wrong to expect that this movie will recreate Gadar.”
Released in the year 2001, “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha” was an action love story, set in the background of India-Pak partition. Moreover, it did exceptionally well on Box Office, earning a whopping sum of Rs 60 crore in just 18 weeks, which was no doubt a big amount at the time of its release.

Movie’s shooting began in the year 2013; however, due to financial crisis, it could not be completed but finally, it’s ready now. Probably the audience will get to watch the film this year only!
