We just can’t deny the fact that this world is still not an ideal and safe place to live for women despite governments and various organizations making efforts to deal with crimes against women in an effective manner.
The biggest problem is that women are unsafe not just outside their houses but in their houses as well. We have come across many cases in which girls/women have been molested by their own male family members and relatives and the majority of such cases are not even reported officially.
The first thing that we need to change is the mindset of men in our society because for many men, a woman is just an object of pleasure and a slave who has to provide for their needs whether they are s*xual or of any other kind.
You will be shocked to know that more than two-third of the Indian married women face marital rape and there are 40 percent more chances of a married woman getting s*xually assaulted by her husband rather than any stranger.
What makes this problem more horrible is the fact that not only married women but the kids who saw such things in their childhood also have to deal with the trauma and there are chances that they can perpetuate such things with their partner as well after growing up.
