Kapil Sharma seems to be going through some really hard time of his life which doesn’t seem to end. The comedian’s show was at the risk of termination due to back to back cancellation of important episodes. Kapil was not keeping well so had to cancel those episodes. He luckily managed to save The Kapil Sharma Show with some changes in the strategy and recently shot for some episodes too.
However, unfortunately, a major episode of TKSS that was with Amitabh Bachchan for the 9th season of his popular show Kaun Banega Crorepati got cancelled again.
But this time Kapil’s health was not the reason for this halt. The show came to halt because of the recent strike by the crew members including make-up artists, light-men, and spot-boys.
There has been an indefinite strike by film and TV workers going on since August 16 due to the unfulfillment of their demands.
The workers, who are members of Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), had demanded a salary hike, eight-hour shift, and accidental and medical insurance.
Hence, when their demands didn’t get fulfilled, close to 2,50,000 employees went on strike and protested outside Film City’s main gate.
Besides KBC 9, Deepika Padukone-Ranbir Singh’s Padmavati, Shah Rukh Khan’s next with Aanand L Rai and John Abraham’s Parmanu have been affected by the strike.
