The third season of Shark Tank India is going pretty well as many pitchers are getting good deals and on some occasions, we have seen Sharks trolling each other as well in a sporting manner while competing to strike a deal with pitchers.
In the latest episode of the show, Satyam Sahu, Praveen Mishra and Shanmugam Vadivel S, the three founders of Smart Calculators came on the show and asked for an amount of Rs. 55 lakh in return of 1 percent of equity.
All the sharks decided to try the calculators and when the co-founder of Boat, Aman Gupta was asked to behave as if he is paying the shopkeepers, the founder of Shaadi.com, Anupam Mittal took a jibe at Aman by saying that, “Aman paise deta nahi hai, udhaari me saamaan leta hai” (Aman never pays money, he takes good on credit).
While there have been some new sharks on the show such as Azhar Iqubal – Co-Founder and CEO of Inshorts, Radhika Gupta – CEO of Edelweiss Capital, Amit Jain – CEO and co-founder of Car Dekho and Ritesh Agarwal – Founder of OYO, the sharks from the first season – Namita Thapar – Executive Director at Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited, Peyush Bansal – Co-Founder and CEO of Lenskart and Vineeta Singh, CEO of Sugar Cosmetics are still cracking deals with the business owners.
