Anushka Sharma, more often than not is in the news for her affair with the cricket heart-throb rather than for her movies. But recently she managed to create news, but unfortunately for all the wrong reason. Such a great performer, could not write the correct name of one of the finest President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. It took her 3 edits to make the Tweet perfect, that too after receiving flak from the Twitterati and becoming the trending topic for not so good reason.
But like a powerful performer that she is, she eventually did not bother to come out in open & apologize for the same.
When asked in a recent media event about the goof up she did –
Anushka made it very clear with her statement!
“It was an honest mistake. Everybody makes mistake. Having said that my intentions and feelings cannot be misconstrued. What I felt was true and got understood is more than enough for me. I have been trolled lot many times on Twitter and I have realized that I don’t want to pay attention to cowards. They are hiding behind the computer screens and posting with some fake names. Anybody can do that. Ask them to come and tell me on my face that is when I will say what I want to.”
We must say she is a brave person too… WE forgive you Anushka!
But Farhan, we really did not expect this from you. Waiting for you to apologize too.
