Apple Sued – Lawsuit Filed Against Apple Over iPhone Storage Capacity!!

Big Words and No show has landed Apple into a legal hassle. The lower cost models of Apple which boast of providing 16 gigabytes of storage capacity, allegedly doesn’t provide so. As per the law suit filed in US District Court in North California, the storage space that Apple promises, about fifth part of it is occupied by the latest operating software.

The case has been filed by two men from Florida, says that the advertised version promises more space for photos, video, and other digital content but the storage space lessen when compared with eight gigabytes storage capacity of Apple gadget.

“Each gigabyte of storage Apple shortchanges its customer’s amounts to approximately 400-500 high resolution photographs.” the lawsuit maintained.

An Apple gadget owner when reached the storage capacity, they are prompted to buy space online at its iCloud service on payment of a monthly fees. The lawsuit charges Apple for being deceptive in advertising its gadget, just in order to sell its product.

“Using these sharp business tactics, (Apple) gives less storage capacity than advertised, only to offer to sell that capacity in a desperate moment, eg when a consumer is trying to record or take photos at a child or grandchild’s recital, basketball game or wedding,” the lawsuit maintained.

However, among all these controversy, Apple remains silent and refuse to comment.
