Jallikattu is an ancient sport in which a bull is tamed by people and thousands of Tamilians are demanding the removal of ban from Jallikattu. Besides that, they are also demanding a ban on the organization which is standing against their sport, PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals).

In the game of Jallikattu, the bull vaulter needs to jump and hang on the hump of the bull for a stipulated stretch of distance or till the bull jumps at least three times. In May 2014, the apex court of India banned the sport, stating that bulls can’t be used for such games which also included bullock cart races. Since then, public has been demanding the Central government to take action for removing this ban.
