Arshad Warsi Opens Up On Casting Akshay Kumar In Jolly LLB 2 After Watching The Movie’s Trailer

The trailer of Akshay Kumar starrer “Jolly LLB 2” is out and it has been loved by audiences a lot. Needless to say, this movie is the sequel of Arshad Warsi starrer “Jolly LLB” which not only entertained us but also left us thinking about the much needed improvement in our judicial system. Arshad Warsi perfectly portrayed the character of a lawyer who, in the beginning, was after money but later on, fought for justice.

Apart from being appreciated by viewers, the flick also received the National Award for the best feature film. However, despite that, Arshad wasn’t casted in the sequel of “Jolly LLB” and was replaced by the Khiladi of Bollywood, i.e., Akshay Kumar.

Arshad didn’t mince words and spoke his heart out, expressing his disappointment. He said,

“I am not doing it… Akshay is doing it. I was supposed to do it, but Fox Star studios needed a bigger star, so they chose Akshay.”

However, when the trailer of “Jolly LLB 2” was released, Arshad was also one of those who praised it and offered good wishes to the cast of the movie. He tweeted, “Finally saw the trailer of Jolly LLB2. Love the new Jolly. Looking forward to it, all the best to @humasqureshi @akshaykumar & @subkapoor”

This is a really great gesture on the part of Arshad as it tells us that if on one hand, he doesn’t hide his anger, on the other, he also knows how to move on.

Akshay promptly responded to Arshad’s love and luck, saying “Thank you for the love & luck Arshad, glad you liked it”

This is how Huma responded, “@ArshadWarsi @akshaykumar @subkapoor thank you dearest Arshad !!! Lots of love”

Good to see that the members of the film industry don’t keep things in heart as this is the only way to maintain cordial relations despite the tough competition that they go through.
