Ashwin Tweets Pic With Pujara & Asks To Guess Their Conversation. Wasim Jaffer’s Reply Is Epic

The Indian cricket team is getting ready to face New Zealand in the finals of the World Test Championship which will be played at Ageas Bowl in Southampton beginning from June 18. Team India has completed their 5-day quarantine period and now they are sweating it out in the net sessions and practice matches in order to get adjusted to the conditions.

Some Indian cricketers are also posting photos and videos on the social media networks so that their fans can get an insight of the manner in which the players are utilizing their time and recently, the Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin shared a photo of him in which he is seen busy in conversation with the Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara. While sharing the image, Ashwin also asked his followers to guess what Cheteshwar Pujara is telling him and soon Twitterati started making comments but the funniest one came from Wasim Jaffer, the former Indian batsman and the present coach of IPL team Punjab Kings (Kings XI Punjab).

R Ashwin tweeted, “Prizes for guessing what @cheteshwar1 is telling me here!” with laughing emojis.

Wasim Jaffer has a reputation of making funny tweets and reactions and this time again, he made everyone laugh but he also brought back the bad memories of 2016 World Cup T20 and 2019 WC. In both the tournaments, the Indian cricket team was the favourites to win and they played superbly until they got eliminated after getting defeated in the semi-finals. In 2019 World Cup semi-final, it was New Zealand which defeated India and went on to play against England in the finals.

In his tweet, Wasim Jaffer writes that Pujara is telling Ashwin he will take revenge of the 2016 T20 WC and 2019 WC. Jaffer also called Pujara White Walker as he was seen wearing white sweater. His tweet read, “2016 WT20, 2019 WC semi sabka badla lega re tera White Walker, unbowed, unbent, unbroken  #WTCFinal”

Hopefully, the tweet of Wasim Jaffer comes true and India wins the World Test Championship.
