The Indian cricket team performed pretty well in the Nagpur test match and registered a huge victory by an innings and 132 runs and almost every player contributed in the team’s victory. While the spinners took 16 out of 20 wickets, the pacers were left with not much work to do but Mohammed Shami was not in the mood to miss any chance to have fun.
While the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma scored a century, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel also played brilliant knocks of 70 and 84 runs, respectively. However, it was Mohammed Shami who finished the match with style as he played a blistering knock of 37 runs for which he played 43 balls. He smashed 2 fours and 3 sixes in his innings and also put up a partnership of 62 runs with Axar Patel.
After the match, Axar Patel and Mohammed Shami had a hilarious interaction and the video clip of the same was shared by the BCCI on its Twitter handle. In the video, Axar Patel introduced Mohammed Shami as Lala and asked what he was thinking when he came to play. In reply, Shami said that he was thinking nothing; as Axar Patel was batting, he was given the role of staying in the crease for as long as possible and show patience but he was not able to show patience.
Axar Patel said that when he was asking Shami to cool down, he went for a six and then again when he asked Shami to keep patience, he once again hit a six. Axar Patel asked why he was doing that and in response, Mohammed Shami said laughingly that he was hitting sixes because his ego got hurt.

The second test match between India and Australia will be played from 17 Feb 2023 at Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi, and hopefully we will get to see some great action in that match as well.
