There is no denying the fact that Ayushmann Khurrana is a multi-talented person as he not only acts but also sings and he has also earned a reputation of being a great anchor of shows. Ayushmann has sung many songs of his movies but becoming an actor was his ultimate aim as he stated in an interview that he was very clear about one thing, i.e., he always wanted to become an actor who can sing and not a singer who can act.
He added that his passion for music and understanding of music helped him in hosting music shows. He further said that though hosting the shows and radio took him one step towards his goal yet in the end, he wanted to be a part of the Hindi movie industry.
The “Dream Girl” actor revealed that he also auditioned for the singing reality show Indian Idol season 2 but he got rejected. He said that though he hosted Indian Idol but he also got rejected in Indian Idol 2 and interestingly, famous singer Neha Kakkar also got rejected in that season.
Ayushmann Khurrana remained unaffected with the rejections as he stated that he saw more rejections before he moved to Mumbai and his rejections have made him what he is today.
Ayushmann will be seen next in “Dream Girl 2” which is slated to release on 25 August 2023; the movie is a sequel to 2019 released “Dream Girl”. The second part stars Ananya Panday in the female lead and it is being directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa.
